MOUX Throttle Controller
Suits Next Gen Ford Ranger & Everest
Transform the way your vehicle responds to the accelerator with the MOUX Throttle Controller.
Designed for Next Gen Ranger and Everest models, the MOUX Throttle Controller modifies electronic throttle response to provide a sharper, more immediate accelerator feel without requiring modifications to the engine or ECU.
Features
- Improved throttle response
- Multiple selectable driving modes
- Adjustable response levels
- Smart learning functionality
- Minimal wiring required
- Plug-and-play installation
- Easy adjustment to suit different driving conditions
- Does not increase engine power — it changes how quickly the throttle responds to accelerator input
Installation Guide
Installation time: Approximately 10–15 minutes
Tools: Generally no special tools required
1. Switch the Vehicle Off
Turn the ignition completely off, remove the key or move the key/fob away from the vehicle, and allow the vehicle electronics to shut down before installation.
2. Locate the Accelerator Pedal Connector
Locate the factory electrical connector at the top of the accelerator pedal assembly.
3. Disconnect the Factory Connector
Carefully release the locking tab and unplug the factory connector. Do not pull directly on the wiring.
4. Connect the MOUX Harness
Connect the MOUX throttle controller harness inline between the factory vehicle harness and the accelerator pedal.
Ensure both connectors are fully seated and locked into position.
5. Position the Controller
Route the controller cable away from the pedals, steering components and other moving parts.
Secure the controller in an accessible location where the display and controls can be reached safely.
6. Initial Setup
Switch the ignition on without starting the engine and follow the controller's learning/calibration procedure where applicable.
Once setup is complete, start the vehicle and confirm normal accelerator operation before driving.
Important
Always begin with a mild response setting and become familiar with the changed accelerator response before selecting more aggressive settings.
Never adjust the controller while driving. Ensure all wiring is securely mounted and cannot interfere with accelerator or brake pedal movement.
The throttle controller changes accelerator response characteristics only. It does not increase the engine's actual horsepower or torque output.I can also turn this into a one-page branded MOUX installation sheet to include in every throttle-controller box.
