WARRANTY & LIABILITY

The following MOUSTAS products are covered by a twelve (12) month limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation conditions:

• Raptor Grille LED Panel
• DRL Upgrade Kits
• PulseX Series
• SpectraSwitch Series
• LumaX Series
• OptiMax Series
• NovaX Series
• Puddle Lights
• Auxiliary Switch Panels

During the warranty period, MOUSTAS may, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the defective product; or
• Replace the defective product with the same or an equivalent product.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

To submit a warranty claim, the purchaser must provide:

• Proof of purchase
• Order number
• A clear description of the fault
• Photos and/or videos demonstrating the issue

MOUSTAS reserves the right to request that the product be returned for inspection before approving a warranty claim.

The purchaser is responsible for all shipping, freight, postage, customs duties, taxes and associated transportation costs incurred when sending products to or receiving products from MOUSTAS during the warranty process.

All warranty replacements are supplied on a product-only basis. Shipping costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise agreed to in writing by MOUSTAS.

This warranty does not cover damage, faults or failures resulting from:

• Incorrect installation, wiring, programming or configuration
• Modification, alteration or unauthorised repair
• Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, off-road impacts or environmental damage
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product's functionality
• Water ingress caused by improper installation
• Vehicle electrical faults, power surges, battery issues, alternator faults or incompatible equipment
• High-pressure water cleaning, harsh chemicals, solvents or environmental contamination
• Installation that does not follow MOUSTAS installation instructions

This warranty also does not cover labour costs associated with diagnosis, troubleshooting, removal, installation or reinstallation.

LED products may display minor variations in:

• Colour temperature
• Brightness
• Light dispersion
• Lens appearance
• Illumination intensity
• Manufacturing finish

Minor variations between production batches are considered normal manufacturing tolerances and do not constitute a product defect or valid warranty claim unless the product fails to perform its intended function.

MOUSTAS continually develops and improves its products.

Warranty replacements may include updated designs, specifications, materials, LEDs, lenses, wiring configurations or features that differ from the originally purchased product.

The release of a newer version, updated design, stronger illumination output, revised lens design or additional features does not mean that the original product is defective.

The purchaser is not entitled to a free upgrade, replacement, refund or compensation solely because a newer or updated version of the product has been released.

Warranty coverage is limited solely to the MOUSTAS product supplied.

The warranty does not extend to:

• Vehicle components
• Vehicle wiring harnesses
• Batteries
• ECUs or body control modules
• Vehicle electrical systems
• Aftermarket accessories
• Diagnostic or labour charges
• Third-party products connected to or used with the MOUSTAS product

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MOUSTAS' sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the defective product.

MOUSTAS is not responsible for:

• Labour or installation costs
• Removal or refitting costs
• Freight, shipping, customs duties or taxes
• Vehicle downtime
• Loss of use of the vehicle
• Loss of income, profits, business opportunities or goodwill
• Towing, accommodation, travel or recovery expenses
• Damage to third-party products or accessories
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or economic loss arising from the use or failure of the product

No cash reimbursement, credit, compensation or damages will be provided under this warranty except where required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Warranty Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
