Refund policy

At MOUSTAS, we stand by the quality of our products and aim to provide reliable support for every customer.

Returns

Returns may be accepted where a product is found to be faulty, defective, or not in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

To request a return, customers must contact MOUSTAS and provide:

Proof of purchase
Order number
Description of the issue
Photos and/or videos showing the fault or concern

MOUSTAS reserves the right to request the product be returned for inspection before approving any return, replacement, or refund.

Refunds

Refunds will only be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law, including where a product has a major failure.

Customers may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. Customers may also be entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

MOUSTAS does not provide refunds, credits, or compensation for change of mind, incorrect installation, misuse, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improper use, vehicle electrical faults, high-pressure cleaning, harsh chemicals, or installation contrary to MOUSTAS instructions.

Warranty-Related Returns

Selected MOUSTAS products are covered by a twelve (12) month limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation conditions.

During the warranty period, MOUSTAS may, at its sole discretion:

Repair the defective product; or
Replace the defective product with the same or equivalent product.

Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all shipping, freight, postage, customs duties, taxes, and associated transportation costs when sending products to and from MOUSTAS, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Warranty replacements are supplied on a product-only basis. Shipping charges remain the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed by MOUSTAS.

Exclusions

Returns, refunds, and warranty claims do not cover:

Incorrect installation, wiring, programming, or configuration
Modification, alteration, or unauthorised repair
Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, off-road impacts, or environmental damage
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality
Damage caused by water ingress from improper installation
Damage caused by vehicle electrical faults, power surges, battery issues, alternator faults, or incompatible equipment
Labour costs for removal, installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, or reinstallation
Damage caused by high-pressure water cleaning, harsh chemicals, solvents, or environmental contamination
Products installed contrary to MOUSTAS installation instructions
